Sealproof 1-Gang Weatherproof Outdoor Outlet Extra Deep Cover | Lockable, UL Extra Duty Compliant, 18 Configurations
The Sealproof Deep 1-Gang In Use Weatherproof Electrical Outlet Cover, which is UL Extra Duty Compliant with a patented multi-configuration design, is made of a Durable Polycarbonate Construction. It is 5-1/4" deep and includes a gasket and mounting hardware, making it easy to install and lockable. The cover can be used horizontally or vertically, providing up to 18 configurations, whether GFCI, Duplex, Switch, or Round (1-1/4", 1-3/8", 1-9/16", 1-5/8", 1-11/16", or 2-1/8").
According to the National Electrical Code 2014 Edition, 406.9 Receptacles in Damp or Wet Locations (B) Wet Locations, 15- and 20-ampere, 125- and 250-volt receptacles installed in a wet location shall have an enclosure that is weatherproof whether or not the attachment plug cap is inserted. An outlet box hood installed for this purpose shall be listed and shall be identified as "extra-duty." All 15- and 20- ampere, 125- and 250-volt nonlocking-type receptacles shall be listed weather resistant type.
The Sealproof Deep 1-Gang In Use Weatherproof Electrical Outlet Cover is NEC Compliant and has a UL File No. E362580, ensuring it meets the necessary safety standards for use in wet locations. The non-metallic clear Frost design provides ample room for 12 AWG or heavier cable, and the outlet box, lock, and receptacle are not included.
