Sealproof 1-1/2-Inch Non-metallic Liquid Tight Conduit Connector, UL Listed, 2-Pack

The Sealproof 1-1/2" Inch Nonmetallic Liquid Tight Straight Conduit Connector is designed to resist a variety of environmental factors, including salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. Molded using type nylon 6, the connector boasts a flammability classification of 94V-2 and a temperature index of 125°C. Included in the package are a "0" Ring and a steel locknut, ensuring a complete and secure installation.

Measuring at A=2.700", B=0.800", and C=2.670", the all-nylon construction of this connector provides exceptional resistance to the same corrosive elements mentioned above. The straightforward installation process eliminates the need for any disassembly. Instead, the installer simply pushes the conduit or tubing onto the ferrule and tightens the domed sealing nut, completing the assembly. The connector can then be secured in the chassis using the provided locknut, or it can be first installed in an NPT threaded hole.

This design approach eliminates the requirement to thread the conduit or tubing, thereby preventing the possibility of cutting the conduit and creating potential leak paths. The Sealproof Connector is suitable for a wide range of applications, including HVAC equipment, machine tools, marine equipment, motors and controls, printing equipment, pumps, refrigeration equipment, transformer connections, and outdoor lighting.

The complete conduit/connector system is reusable, and the conduit will not wind tight onto the connector during assembly. If needed, the conduit can be easily removed by pulling while turning in a clockwise direction.
